The Borneo Fashion Week (BFW) 2018 features
Borneo’s finest heritage in their second year. The three day event from 7th to 9th September will showcase collections that
are ethnic inspired from both local and international designers – 10 exciting
runway shows and 30 exhibitors from fashion to textile, healthcare, ethnic
craft, and even lifestyle products.
Local designers include Indu Borneo, WYNKA, Latip's Collections, De' Mlya, Yacutha Borneo,Kumang & Co., Keldreena Bremas, Rozie Khan Couture, Fatin Xivera, Bidwin Molumdim, Pretty in White, Najla Shoes, JK Homme, Azhar Zainal,Suhaimiey Sahariey, O.F.F. by Phoebe Ooi,
and many more.
There are also three notable awards that will be presented during the event – the BFW Emerging Designer of the Year 2018, BFW Designer of the Year 2018, and Most Promising Sarawak Designer 2018. Also, the judging panels are fashion experts from the well-known Limkokwing University and introducing the Limkokwing Fashion Design Scholarship worth over RM100,000.
