As Summer continues and freedom of movement is once again yours for the taking, Kate Spade showcases its rendition of the individualistic woman with an eclectic mix of pieces to express herself and her style.
Ready-to-wear focus on easy pieces meant to be worn all summer long for all kinds of occasions. Soft ruffles, smocking, sheering, strong sleeves are favorite details, as are clean, modern takes on color blocking. There is black and white gingham in playful mixes of large and small checks, cherry motifs for occasion and casual wear and Calais stripes. Dresses continue to be key, as do jumpsuits.
Fabrics are light and breezy: casual cotton voile, tweed with tonal sequins for a touch of shine, spade eyelet and crochet.
Handbags and SLGs feature bold prints, preppy patterns and textures, with fruit motifs, gingham and molded wicker sprinkled throughout the assortment. Season-specific fabrications like raffia, crochet, canvas and raffia stripes are added in the mix. Also they've introduced a signature print, a spade flower-patterned jacquard developed with Italian mill Limonta. It’s used alone, layered with a double stripe from our archives or embroidered with cherries. Walk on through their full collection @katespade.com
