On 22 November Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur offers up something to savor with The San Pellegrino’s Guest Chef Series by Horizon Grill where two of Singapore’s finest will join in house resident chefs to cook up a truly one-of-a-kind offering.
Chef Tamara Chavez, of Tono Cevicheria, the pioneering authentic Peruvian Cevicheria in Singapore; and Chef Kurt Sombero of Meatsmith Little India, Singapore’s first restaurant combining the tastes of India with fixed roots in American Barbeque, Will collaborate with namely Chef de Cuisine Daniel Wong of Horizon Grill and Pastry Chef Fodil Baghal.
Diners can look forward to creations such as Risotto Goreng featuring Kaluga caviar, fried soft boiled egg, pickled lettuce, Madras curry and fermented spicy red beans- Tiradito Negro a signature scallop dish garnished “Black Tiger’s Milk” - Ikura Papadum and and unique rendition of Smoked Beef Rib, served with turmeric sauce and a side of Tandoori cauliflower. Topped of with a sweet ending - Summer a delectable serving of caramelised figs drizzled with thyme caramel sauce, and plated with salted caramel ice cream.
