The Crab Chow Down @Hilton Kuala Lumpur


Returning for it's second year to Hilton KL. The Crab Chow Down feast at Vasco restaurant will run from February 10 to end of March, featuring some fresh dining options sourced from the coasts of Malaysia. The buffet centers around five cultural flavors of  Indian, Malay, Chinese, Japanese and Western, that will use the finest catch of  flower crabs, baby crabs and soft-shell crabs to tickle your  palate.

The fun begins with live cooking stations where you can enjoy Crispy Fried Baby Crab with local spices and Pineapple Crab Fried Rice along with some traditional Chinese-style crab dishes such as stir-fried Chili Crab, Black Pepper Crab, Kam Heong Crab and Braised Crabmeat Soup. For medley of spices and aromatics, the Indian station has you covered with crabs cooked in Goan curry, a Chattinadu infusion and crab Tandoori grilled to perfection. Also not to forget crab dishes cooked in Malay flavours includes Crab and Pineapple Stew cooked in Coconut Gravy and Crab with Garlic Sauce or Assam Pedas.

Finally be sure to check out the specially made Crab Cakes with Capers Lemon Sauce, Paella, Oven-baked Crab Pizza and Aglio Olio. The dishes will be on rotation everyday so one can have something new the next day. Priced @RM188 per person and RM68 child. For more information visit @HiltonKL
