It's hard to be environmentally responsible when it comes to fast fashion. But H&M is always there to make small changes which benefit the planet. Their latest Holiday 2020 Ladies Collection is celebrating festive fashion with sustainability in mind from show stopping sequin tops to elegant jacquard dresses and edgy metallic accessories, with pieces claimed to be sustainably-made from sustainably sourced materials such as recycled polyester and responsible wool.
Highlights such as the Balloon-sleeved Wrap Dress is made with recycled polyester. It is a must-have for the festive wardrobe and beyond. The voluminous sleeves and subtle metallic thread weaved into crinkled fabric add a touch of drama to the body-flattering dress.
While the Jacquard-weave Dress is nothing but elegant and complemented by three-dimensional jacquard-weave fabric with shimmery metallic threads, this short, fitted dress is sustainably-made with recycled polyester, embracing vintage vibes with a casual and chic silhouette. The collection also includes a polyester wool-blend cardigan with short embellished knit made from soft alpaca wool which makes for a versatile and unique knitwear that can be worn beyond the holiday season, this cardigan can be paired with an A-line leather skirt for an edgy look or styled with a satin midi skirt for a luxe and softer look. Another must-have piece is the oversized blazer - Blazers are not just for the workplace anymore and a straight-cut, oversized jacket is a wardrobe staple for every season. Give the menswear silhouette a feminine update by pairing it with a sequined cropped top, skinny trousers and playful pumps.
